MUSIC DEPARTMENT’S PREPONDERANCE:
In recent times, Church formations seem to be busy with grooming our youth Christians more on how to sing songs than learning and teaching of Scriptures for reasons best known to them, not God. Howbeit, no such singing amounts to anything worthwhile before God if not based on Scripture because “He (God) sent His word for the healing (inside-out) as well as saving from destruction of His people” as in “Psalm 107:20”.
SONG DEPARTMENT SUPPORTED MORE.
When have we witnessed the Sunday School Department of a local Church having a function for raising funds for the welfare of the Sunday School teachers with regards to their wardrobe for their moderate appearance before the congregation as we usually see with Choir robes launch?
MONEY DROPS DURING SONG MINISTRATIONS.
Scarcely we see members thank God for a good and an edifying lesson and is expressed with dropping of money that will be gathered for the upkeep of the teaching department as we witness during songs’ ministration by choir. Therefore, our youth can quickly spot the areas that are lucrative in the various Church organs, namely, Music, Prayer, except Scripture learning and practiced teaching. But such must not be allowed to continue.
